I've been getting spam messages that look like this:
Hi, friend!
Error on ///
New line
THE_BAT3
The last line has also read THE_BAT2
The subject line is simply the number 1 and from looking at the source I can see no hidden links or stuff like that. I wonder what is going on? It's a plain text message. Are they hoping to provoke an automatic respose that proves the existence of the target email address? Or are they just stupid? Any thoughts?
