Hi Rob
I imagine it'll be something to do with the recent problem but just wanted to check that you are aware that the raw log file archives have not yet been created for Dec 06 on any of my reseller accounts (and the November ones are still there) and also that the bandwidth reports in CPanel are all still showing zero for this month.
Also the AWStats results are showing no activity for this month and are also showing nothing for the 29th, 30th and 31st of Dec.
cheers

I've just created ticket number 20070105-1740-18 to deal with what I think is the same problem, though my stats program of choice is webaliser. The webaliser files on the various accounts were last updated on 28 December at varying times throughout the day.

I've discovered that if you go to awstats and click 'update now' then several minutes later it does produce a report. But, as I've said on the ticket I've just updated, I cannot do this for 70 domains and still get on with my regular work.

if you *need* the stats while we get it fixed serverwide, then use the "update now" option on awstats with the control panel.
there are at least 2 separate problems - the exim_stats table in the internal cpanel database has garbage in the middle - we have looked at all the backups and they're the same, so we will have to try and salvage what we can and reset the table (a MySQL test/fix of teh table hasnt solved it)
some of the logs are > 2Gb in size (due to not being split for a few days whilst the reinstall and rebuild were going on) which is causing the nightly stats update to crash.
technicians are manually cutting up the logs so that the data can stil be used, and we are waiting on cpanel about the eximstats table issues.
we hope to get this solved over the weekend, so atht you can go back to enjoying the numbers of hits to your sites on Monday.

Looks like you're well on with it now, I have stats and bandwidth figures. Thanks for your efforts.

Likewise, bandwidth and AW Stats back working, just the archived raw logs left, but I can download the current raw logs and chop the November and Jan stuff off them.
Don't envy the techies doing that for loads of files - I once used to have to do it for a major international company whose files were huge and most Windows editors were extremely unhappy. WinVi was the only one that could really handle them and even it was s-l-o-w.
Thanks Rob
