WHM Username

Can i just ask why WHM will only allow usernames that are 8 characters long when creating an account.

This isn't a restriction that we have put in place, I am not sure why cPanel has decided to only let 8 character usernames. I have always wondered why, I guess it is for ease of management. :)

One more question,i am going to offer my clients the chance of the rv skin.

I have news posted in cpanel but it will not show on the rv skin,only in the x or x2 skin.:confused:

I believe RV Skin uses it's own seperate news system. Try using the "RV Skin Manager" located in your WHM in the left hand frame under "Add-ons". There should be an option to setup news there. :)

Sorry, please change elite cPanel to rvskin theme in order to access RV Skin Manager.


I dont see an option to change the main account to the rvskin.
