Your Talents

What does everyone here do that they're particularly proud of? For instance, I'm a musician and web designer and have worked at both for years and am proud of how far along I've come. I don't feel like I'm any better than anyone else, but I'm proud of my accomplishments nonetheless. :)

What does everyone else do well?

I'm not very musically talented, but like you I feel I've come a long way in web design. You should have seen some of the designs I was making a year or two ago. :o

I'm not sure if this is classed as a talent, but I've always been very good at maths & programming. I feel the maths I know helps me a lot with programming. I know my way around a linux system like the back of my hand which helps me with BASH scripting. :)

I definitely do consider those talents. As you said, they assist you in web design and that definitely takes talent.

And I hear ya, I've put together some very unattractive designs myself. lol We live, we learn. :)

I have come forward in web design, as If you compare the designs I was making a year ago, and now you can see the diffrence.

I do not know wether this is what you call talent, but I can do basic mechanics and wood work. :)

I am also good at fixing things, and using technoloigy. :)

Of course, those definitely take talent! My buddy who has been playing guitar for around the same amount of time I have, simply can't do very much at all. It's not that he's just bad, it's that I think maybe he's not devoted enough or doesn't try hard enough. Then, I think maybe there's natural talent for each of us in different fields... Could be? But yes, I think doing well at designing, wood work and mechanics are all talents.

Yeah, I'm the same. Normally the only thing that sparks my interest is articles relating to technology. I used to read a lot as a child, I guess books that have come out recently just don't interest me.
