How many people have registered themselves as a company.

I have been looking at other payment methods as well as paypal, i have been told that to use places such as moneybookers its better to register mine as a company.

Where are the best places to do this.:)

Hello Craig,

Regarding payment methods, we have found good success with MoneyBookers (http://www.moneybookers.com), NoChex (http://www.nochex.com) and 2CheckOut (http://www.2checkout.com) alongside PayPal (http://www.paypal.co.uk). However, the majority of our customers still choose to use PayPal as their payment method due to it's convenience.

Regarding registering as a company in the UK, I have been having a look at Spiegel & Utrera, Ltd (http://www.spiegelutrera.co.uk) - I have seen some good reviews about them and they are pretty cheap as well. It costs just ?29.95+VAT to register as a Private Limited Company. :)

Let me know if you would like any more information.

Cheers steve.

When you signed up with moneybookers was it a personel account or company account.

I can't be sure since it was a long time ago, but I think it was a company account. :)

Cheers steve, just one more question.

Since you have been around the block longer than me, whats the best way to accept credit cards.

Like you said most people use paypal but now the site has been redesigned and extras added i want to give people more payment choices.:)

We currently use 2CheckOut to accept Credit Cards as we saw this as the easiest way to accept them. You also have the option of opening a merchant account with someone like Authorize.Net (http://authorize.net), however the setup cost of a real merchant account can be quite expensive for a small company. However, you will benefit from lower processing fee's. :)

Hello Jeff,

I don't know much about it, but I remember about 1 and a half years ago I got an email from PayPal saying they are running checks on my account because I had received more than ?4500 to check I wasn't laundering money. I didn't have to do anything though - they just did everything. :)
