Is there anyone in the UK using 2Checkout?

Their fees look quite good and im looking for an alternative to PayPal however their website is really hard to navigate.

Do their accept UK credit / debit cards? How does withdrawing funds work and do they require a certain amount of your funds to be kept against fruadulant orders?

Hello Andy,

We use 2CheckOut to accept Credit/Debit Cards, they are pretty good - the fee's are slightly higher than PayPal, but this is expected because they are running a higher risk accepting Credit/Debit cards from all over the world.

You add your bank account details to their system and when you reach a certain threshold amount (that is set by you) they will automatically transfer the funds to your bank account.

I have found their support to be better than PayPal's, they have a proper helpdesk with humans on it, rather than PayPal who send you canned responses via email.

If you have any questions I will suggest you look on their website and see if they have live support online, I used this before signing up and they were very helpful. :)

Steve,

2CO have told me that they do not accept Debit cards such as Switch / Solo etc, but you mentioned that you do accept Debit cards?

If you dont mind me asking, what kind of percentage of your customers prefer 2CO over PayPal? :)

Hello Andy,

We use 2CO to accept Visa Debit Cards, and use NoChex (http://www.nochex.com) to accept UK Switch / Solo cards.

Most of our customers actually prefer PayPal, it's mainly businesses and customers from countries that PayPal doesn't support that use 2CO. :)

Thats great Steve, thank you again :)

Ive gone ahead and signed up although im having a few problems with my current shopping cart that need ironing out. I think its probably best to keep PayPal working alongside 2CO in order not to alienate anybody.

Your help and advise is greatly appreciated as always ;)
