More and more users are reporting occasional mail-send issues with teh Cpanel servers, usually resulting in a message to/from outlook of
503 valid RCPT command must precede DATA

The built inmethod for authenticating users for the ability to send email (SMTP) is to require a POP3 login to the server first - commonly called a POP3-before-SMTP authentication model.

How this is implemented in CPanel is a list of those collecting their mail, allowing then to send for upto 30 minutes after collection. Sadly the list can only hold approx. 50 domain names and IP addresses, and so the limit of 50 gets reached quoite regularly.

For those using *real* outlook as a mail-client, we advise switching to the SMTP authenticated mode - on the outgoing servers tab, tick the box "my server requires authentication" and the problem will not occur for you.

Please do NOT toick the M$ proprietory method "SPA" on one of the other setup tabs, as it means you will not be able to connect to the mailserver.
