Hey guys,

I just wanted to get your opinions on the design of me and my friend's site. Click here to check it out.

I don't mean the music or even the design really, just mainly the layout and navigation of it. Any friendly feedback is always welcomed. It's not the usual style I suppose, but that's why I thought I'd ask what you guys thought of it!

Site is looking good, I like the way you have displayed the Latest Forum Topics on your homepage.

We're going to aim for a large community above general site viewers. We just want to be heard and have good conversation, so hopefully the site feels welcoming!

I hate to bump my own thread... again... but we decided to change it to a much smaller, faster-loading, simple and stylish design as opposed to the over-sized grunge.

Could I please get some feedback on the new look?

I prefer it to your old design. It looks a lot cleaner and more professional.

One thing I would suggest is to try and move away from using iframes and use PHP includes if possible, as some people using older browsers won't be able to view your site. I've found that using PHP includes over iframes also makes your site more SEO friendly.

Thank you for the kind words.

I was hoping that the new design would be better liked. Some people I know strayed from the old design because of the over-grunge look to it.

I'm not a huge fan of iframes, I admit, but haven't spent much time with PHP outside of the forums I've worked on endlessly. I will look into PHP includes so I can enjoy being rid of iframes. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm trying to make the site easy on the eyes (not too much) and still point to the subject at hand, which I hope is coming along.
