Has anyone had any problems with sending mail to an Othello hosted mail account using a 3 dongle connection?
One of my clients brought his laptop to me saying that he couldn't connect while on the road. I plugged it into my net connection and it sent mail to his SMTP server fine. However we then unplugged the broadband and fired up his 3 dongle and while it would connect to the pop3 server ok the SMTP server was refusing the connection. SMTP Authentication is set up ok. I've used my own Orange dongle to send mail to my own servers without any problem so it seems to be a 3 issue but I'm baffled as to what I can do about it. Any ideas before I submit a ticket? |

No ideas Bill (sorry) but if you get a resolution via a ticket could you post the relevant information here?
Thanks, Roger PS: having said no ideas, currently email performance is dire and I suspect a spam/DoS attack is under way. |
